In an effort to help merchants expand their market reach, Shopify has launched a new feature in their Shopify Marketing suite enabling users to purchase digital ad campaigns that advertise their product or service across the entire Microsoft Search Network.
Made possible through an integration with Microsoft Advertising, this new feature invites users to track their campaign results within Shopify via their dashboard and touts a market reach that spans across all Microsoft search engines (including AOL and Yahoo). This equates to more than 116 million “unique searchers” monthly, according to the company’s post.
All accomplished via the Shopify App, Microsoft Advertising will allow users to set up shopping campaigns that simultaneously track their progress across the various search engine platforms. And while Shopify is not the first digital commerce brand to explore all-in-one sales and marketing (Amazon, Facebook and Instagram all have active integrations with BigCommerce for the same purpose), they are the first to offer direct integration with Microsoft Advertising, according to Search Engine Land.
A seemingly big win for Shopify, Microsoft Advertising claims to reach more than 50 million searchers who can’t be reached on other search engines, with an online spend that’s higher than the average internet searcher.
From a cost perspective, users have the ability to set flexible daily budgets based predominantly on current goals and seasonal factors, according to Shopify’s post.
